Knowledge is Power.
I truly believe that, armed with good information, people really do want to make responsible choices that positively impact our planet and the health of all its inhabitants.
I’ve proudly watched my own parents steadily eliminate the number of processed and genetically modified foods in their refrigerator. I’m moved by friends who turn the shower water off when shampooing their hair. And I’ve seen changes in my own behavior, as I continue learning about the things, both little and large, that we as constituents and consumers can do to save our earth and atmosphere — so that we can hand down to our children a world even better than the one we inherited.
My goal with Green the Globe is to put that information in the palm of your hands. A familiarity with the laws, policies and everyday practices that protect our resources will help you to make sustainable choices – and, just as importantly, educate others to do the same.
